In the Cloud age it is getting increasingly difficult to predict and manage the cost of your Cloud subscription. In the past with a fixed number of dedicated servers running VM’s it was very clear what the hosting costs were going to be. In the Cloud especially when self-managing DevOps teams having the freedom to choose what they want to use for their projects, it can quickly get overwhelming. Luckily, there are great tools and techniques that can help you out.
After you have an understanding your environment and the cost, there are a lot of cleaver ways to save money. Ofcourse, you can look at cheaper services, but do you really need to run 3 development environments at night while your dev team works during the day and the weekend? And why is that VM running 24/7 for those batch jobs that are ran every night?

After this 4-hour training you know how to design your Azure environment with cost in mind. We will look at the cost implications for both traditional services such as VM but mainly we will dive into the Managed and Serverless offerings. But more importantly you know how to proactively do cost analysis, so you always in control on what you are spending.
