No nonsense, down to earth, the right tools for the job, taking responsibility, and an entrepreneurial view of every project. These are the core values with which Corinne approaches projects.
Corinne started as an all-round web developer within her own company and later worked as frond-end developer for a Rotterdam internet agency. She has worked on many projects in recent years, always in close contact with her team, product owners and clients. Her focus was not only on development, but also on usability and user experience. When frond-end became more and more programming, she started to study computer science at Hogeschool Rotterdam in order to increase her knowledge. This is where technology really took hold of her. She has a passion for her field and follows the latest developments closely. However, she will not always immediately opt for the latest techniques; compatibility, maintainability, scalablity and sustainability are her priorities.
Corinne is not only strong in the front-end, she also knows how to make the connection with the back-end. Serverless, Docker, JSON and links with APIs are not new to her. Here she likes to look at making data accessible to the frond-end as efficiently as possible. Thanks to her knowledge of the backend, Corinne can also make well-founded choices about the frond-end never losing sight of the end user. Choices within her work are never based solely on the backend or end user, Corinne oversees the interest of all stakeholders within a project.
Corinne is a conceptual thinker. Nothing is more fun than making a product that makes the end happy, but which also presents a (technical) challenge. She enjoys working with (new) techniques and likes to dive deeper into it. If she doesn’t know something, she looks up the documentation or follows a tutorial or (online) course. In turn, she likes to share her knowledge with colleagues and teammates.
