Jeroen de Jong

Jeroen’s journey into IT started with audio software, but quickly went on to become a back end developer with a passion for algorithms, concurrency and design patterns. Although he has a broad interest in programming languages, over the years he became a Java expert, as it’s been his go-to language since his time as a student. Jeroen keeps himself up to date by reading, watching and trying out new cool technologies, which is why, when he joined Luminis, he began practicing cloud computing on the AWS platform. In his spare time he likes to play chess which, according to him, is all about thinking ahead and adapting to an ever changing landscape, just like software engineering.
