My world is: it’s better to burn out than to fade away.

Working at Luminis

Luminis is a software technology company that is based on the human factor and driven by passion. With these formidable foundations we surprise our customers and ourselves frequently. With the right mix of talents, technology and a market-oriented context, you can create things that others simply cannot. Sometimes people ask me: What is it that you do? One of the answers is that we aim to change the business-landscape with innovatieve software technology and the Internet. We want to do this with the best people in the industry.

What do you think is typical for Luminis

To me, typical things that you will find at Luminis are both laughter, hard-working people and outbursts of emotion. Furthermore, every Luminis office houses high-performance projectteams where the air crackles with energy. The connection that is shared by people at Luminis goes far beyond any daily job.

What do we want to do in the future?

To engage in exciting and successful projects that require everyone’s commitment and inspiration to make them successful. To have great colleagues who want to work with and for customers. Everyone should be focussed on mutual success.

My sound

Keith Jarrett, The Köln concert. Imagine: you are giving a concert for a sold-out and packed in concert hall. It is just you and the piano on the stage to express yourself and the music in your heart. This, along with harmonic improvisation, is what made Keith Jarrett famous. Since 1971, his live-improvisations have developed into a true phenomenon to see. He changed the entire concept of solo piano, by playing improvisations for over 3 quarters of an hour.
