What is the Accelerate Program?
Accelerate is a Tech Leadership Program for top IT-talents within large organisations.
Accelerate is organized around the central themes; empathy, craftsmanship and entrepreneurship. In 18 months time, participants are accelerated 4 to 5 years in their careers. The program is unique because it involves participants from several different organizations. This allows the participants to look at the IT field from different angles, to have intensive discussions and to learn from other organizations. Each Accelerate participants has a ‘buddy’ from another organization to reflect with, support and learn from each other.
The Tech Leadership Program program aims to form the future generation of IT leaders. Upon successful completion, participants will have the opportunity to take on more responsible roles.
Participants in the Accelerate program are supported to maximize their potential in order to accelerate the achievement of their goals. Based on personal goals, development is tracked during the traineeship. Progress is transparent via a portfolio system.
The intensive program is guided by coaches from inside and outside the organization.
- Development of personal skills such as communication and leadership.
- Offers IT professionals room for accelerated growth; broadening and deepening technical knowledge.
- Experiences, knowledge and connections pooled and shared across various organizations.
The program covers technical skills, for example in the areas of microservices and cybersecurity. In addition, the development of soft skills, such as communication and leadership, plays an important role.
In a time frame of 18 months, participants make steps in their development that normally take 4 to 5 years. The organization How Company plays an important role in this and helps the participants make the most of their potential in order to achieve their goals more quickly.
